For your viewing pleasure – I submit the five best neck releasers of all time.  I don’t know if that’s what they’re officially called but you know what I’m talking about.  Instead of keeping the head still with the chin pointed back behind the ball, some golfers rotate the head through the strike and it often starts well before impact.  I admit I’ve always been fascinated by the subtle variations that great golfers employ in order to deliver the club with power and control.

I also tend to release my head through the strike and begin looking forward a bit even through transition.  I’m pretty sure for me it comes from playing so much baseball growing up.  It’s natural to me to drop the club flatter while looking forward.  It also helps me get left and get my knees going targetward in the change of direction.  Anyways – enjoy these sequences of this unique variation.  Several former world number 1′s here.

I also included a couple more traditional impact positions to compare to at the end.  Let me know what you think!
